Rapid Clear Fine Filter Pads are perfect for quickly clearing dusty and dirty water that is too small for your filter. If you’ve ever treated your pond for cloudy water, you’ll know that the smallest particles can be the hardest to remove. Even with a good filtration system, very fine debris often slips straight through standard mechanical filter mats. That’s where the Aquascape Rapid Clear Fine Filter Pad comes in.
Designed to significantly speed up the filtering of flocculated particles, this fine disposable filter mat captures the tiny debris that ordinary filter pads can miss. When used after applying a flocculant treatment, those suspended particles clump together — and this pad helps you physically remove them from the water quickly and efficiently. This is great to use after you have been disturbing the water or if it is looking particularly dusty.
Using Rapid Clear Fine Filter Pads couldn’t be easier. Simply place the pad inside your skimmer box and let your system do the work. As water flows through, the fine material traps the smaller particulate, helping to restore clarity faster. It’s a simple upgrade that can make a noticeable difference, particularly when dealing with murky water or post-treatment clean-ups.
For best results, we recommend using the pad alongside Aquascape Rapid Clear Flocculant to maximise clarity and improve overall water quality. Each pack includes three 12” x 24” (30 cm x 60 cm) filter pads, giving you flexibility to trim to size if needed and replace as required.
