Ready to Build Your Own Pond? This Workshop is for You!
Ponds are a fantastic way to invite wildlife into your garden, offering soothing sounds of flowing water, creating a humid microclimate, and improving air quality—what’s not to love? However, the idea of building your own pond can feel a bit overwhelming at first.
That’s where our new pond kits come in. We’ve designed them to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible, helping you create the perfect aquatic oasis in your garden. By the end of the workshop, you’ll even have the confidence to build your own waterfall if you choose to! Although we will focus on building Ecosystem Ponds with waterfalls, the same essential principles can be applied to creating Stillwater ponds too. We’ll guide you through how to build your own Ecosystem pond—just like the beautiful display at Aqua Eden—but we will also provide guidance for those who choose a more hybrid approach with sections of rocks instead of a fully rocked design.
One of the biggest concerns many people face is dealing with algae and murky water. Don’t worry! I’ll show you how to work with nature to keep your pond naturally clean and clear with minimal maintenance. We’ll discuss design tips to create habitats for wildlife from the start, as well as ideas for natural planting schemes that will thrive in your pond.
This course is for complete beginners looking to build their own pond at home. No question is a silly question!
